Alliance champions disgraced
FOR THE HORDE!!!
Well? Don't stand there in the foul weather! Step inside! Mead's on the house! A tribute, if you wish, yes. The famed heroes of Sanctuary have met with a horrible outrage and came out victorious!
What happened, you ask? Basically, it's simple enough. Ready for more challenges, they headed back to the Coliseum in Icecrown. To everyone's astonishment, there they hadn't learned from their previous mistake of sending a lowly Gnome out into the battlefield. In stead, they opted to make Sanctuary prove their worth by facing a band of Alliance champions.
... well, 'champions'... you know the reputation the Alliance fighters have. Hurl one battle cry their way and they start wetting their pants. Still, fights like this are usually handled by season Horde war veterans, not brave adventurers trying to rid Azeroth of greater evils. But, our heroes did not let this stop them. Joking about switching jobs with the fighters in the battle zones out there, musing that next they should add a Yogg-Saron mock up before each arena battle, they charged forth.
It took some doing, but in the end the Alliance champions lived up to their reputation. They got scattered. Their so-called heroes picked seemingly random targets. They pranced over the arena floor like headless chickens. And in the end they met their defeat!
Sanctuary is glorious once more!
Hopefully, the next time they can be put to use fighting greater evils again...

Fizzlebang fouls up, Sanctuary saves the day
Uuuuuuugh...
My poor head... bweurgh....
What? Oh, it's you again. No, don't say it... I look tired. I'll go drag the chef out of his bunk as soon as the room stops spinning, so you'll have your breakfast. Last week's party lasted a bit longer than expected.
Last Wednesday, 25 brave adventurers headed back into the Coliseum after news had reached this inn that a new challenge was awaiting them. The Crusade proceeded to confront them with a foolish Gnome who was dabbling in arts he did not fully understand. Smack in the middle of the arena, the little critter managed to call forth a demon lord named Jaraxxus.
Sanctuary's heroes were baffled by this foulup for only a short while and then stormed forward to save the day, since the Gnome, named Fizzlebang, was no match for what he had summoned. Risking their lives, Sanctuary defeated Lord Jaraxxus before it could fully break the bonds of his summoning. Fizzlebang, however, died in the process.
Oh, there's the cook just now. I'll go lie down for a while longer, while he can make you some breakfast. And afterwards, maybe he can tell you more about the glorious fights of Sanctuary. Though, mind you, he tells the stories of the defeat of Icehowl and Jaraxxus as if there were only 10 people there...
